The prosecutor's office approved the charge against one of the defendants in the "March 26 case" Alexander Shpakov, the case was submitted to the court. This was reported on May 12 on the official website of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.
According to the investigation, Shpakov, interfering with the lawful activities of police officers in the protection of public order, used violence against one of them, which was not dangerous to life and health.

Shpakov is accused of allegedly inflicting two blows on the commander of the 1st Battalion of the 2nd Operational Regiment Valery Gonikov when he was detained at an uncoordinated action against corruption in the center of Moscow on March 26. Gonikov was also a victim in the Bolotnaya case.
