FSB: The recruiter of the IG was detained in Bashkiria

The FSB announced the detention in Bashkortostan the alleged recruiter of the Islamic State. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the FSB Office for Bashkortostan.

A 35-year-old resident of the Dürtolinsky district of the republic was detained. According to the special services, the man involved the inhabitants of Bashkortostan in the activities of IG and contributed to their departure to Syria. The FSB does not disclose the name of the suspect.

A criminal case was opened against the detainee under Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code (promoting terrorist activity), according to which part, it is not reported.

According to "Proufu.ru", the alleged recruiter of IG was detained in early May.
