The prosecutor’s office sent to the Russian Supreme Court an appeal submission to the new sentence to the main person involved in the first (Sevastopol) case of Crimean Muslims to Ruslan Zeitullaev. This was reported by "Crimea. Realities."
The paper indicates that the part 1 of Article 205.5 of the Russian Criminal Code (the organization of the activities of a terrorist organization) provides for a period of 15 years to lifelong. Meanwhile, on April 26, according to the results of a repeated consideration of the case, the college of the North Caucasus District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don, chaired by Anatoly Kolesnik, sentenced Zeytullaev to 12 years in a maximum regime .
The purpose of the term is below the lower limit, the appeal is said, "possibly only if there are exceptional circumstances." In the case of Zeytullaev, there are no such circumstances, the prosecutor's office claims.
As far as is known, the media really did not explain the reason for what was the Politzeku gave a term below the Code. Zeytullaev did not plead guilty and did not collaborate with the investigation. The prosecutor Gennady Trukhanov requested a strict regime for the defendant.
The first sentence to Zeitullaevwas also canceled at the request of the prosecutor's office . In the first process, the same prosecutor Trukhanov demanded the same 17 years of strict regime for the Politzkek, however, the judicial college re -qualified Zeitullaev’s accusation of part 2 of article 205.5 (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization) and gave him only 7 years, not a strict regime, but in general.
On Monday, Politzek began a new hunger strike in the Rostov SIZO-1. He protests against the sentence issued to him, as well as against repressions regarding other Crimean Tatars. Zeytullaev also achieves the admission of the Ukrainian consul to him; Until now, Ukrainian diplomats under various far -fetched pretexts are refused a meeting with Politzek.
In April, Zeytullaev already held a hunger strike with similar requirements for 22 days. The action caused a resonance both in Ukraine and beyond.
Three other defendants in the Sevastopol case of Muslims - Nuri (Yuri) Primov, Rustem Vaitov and Frat Saifullaev - received 5 years of general regime each part 2 of article 205.5. None of them also pleaded guilty. The prosecutor did not dispute the sentences to these defendants, and in December the decisions entered into legal force. Primov is contained in the Mari IK-5 in the village of Yasius Sovetsky District, Vaitov-in IK-1 in Kurgan, and Saifullaev-in the Kirov IK-17 in Omutninsk. The last two colonies have a torture reputation.
It is known that Vaitova in the colony was repeatedly sent to a schizo for refusing to become a scammer. Now on the network there is a collection of funds for the operation of the daughter of Politzeck Safie, who was born with serious diseases after the arrest of her father.
