He promised to “close Russian networks” with the help of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, since the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexander Turchinov also shared this point of view.

And today Skiryak accepts congratulations from like -minded people. What is this person?

Zoryan Shkiryak, a native of Transcarpathia, began in politics as a civil activist, was elected as a deputy of the City Council of Kyiv, an active participant in the Maidan. He participated in the 2014 presidential campaign, was appointed adviser to the Minister of the Interior.

Since the beginning of hostilities in the Donbass, he was engaged in the evacuation of civilians from the territories where battles were underway. During the elections to Rada, he took off, as a major, his candidacy in favor of Andrei Biletsky, the commander of the Azov battalion, and became his confidant.

In March 2015, Skiryak was appointed acting head of the civil service for emergency situations. He did not work for long, only until May 2015: after the evacuation of citizens of Ukraine from Nepal, where the earthquake occurred, he became a victim of a media scandal (due to the published photograph) and resigned, returning to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In February 2017, the Russia-24 television channel said that the murder of the Field commander Givi in ​​the Donbass was carried out by "certain Zoryan and Shkiryak." The journalist decided that these are two different people. The error, thanks to popularity in Ukrainian social networks, immediately became a meme.
