Simferopol authorities banned picket against political and religious persecution

The Simferopol authorities did not allow the activists to hold a picket on May 19 near the building of the Crimean government against "political persecution on ethnic and religious grounds." This was announced on Facebook by one of the picket organizers, activist Nariman Dzhelyalov.

According to him, activists in Sudak were also denied permission to hold such an event.

In addition, activists of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people began to receive warnings about preventing violations of the law.
