KIA refused to import her cars to Russia

The South Korean automaker Kia will no longer supply their cars to Russia. Representatives of the concern explained that the entire assembly of cars will now be maintained at Russian enterprises, as it is more profitable than imports from South Korea.

Today, 11 models of the company are being implemented in the Russian market. In particular, Kia Rio, the most popular brand model among Russian motorists, is produced in St. Petersburg at the Hyundai factory. The serial assembly of the new generation model will begin at the enterprise in St. Petersburg in August, and its sales will start in September.
