A Murom resident was fined for publishing a satirical song about Jews

On May 17, the Prosecutor's Office of the Vladimir Region reported that a resident of Murom had been fined for possession of extremist materials for mass distribution (under Article 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The reason for bringing to administrative responsibility was the publication in the social network "VKontakte" of the song "Synagogue" of the group "Ensemble of Christ the Savior and Mother Earth Cheese". At the same time, the Central District Court of the city of Kemerovo on May 30, 2014 banned the video for the specified composition and included it in the Federal List of Extremist Materials.

In the song published by the defendant, the lyrical hero claims that the Jews are to blame for all the problems and they need to be destroyed. However, as the Information and Analytical Center "Sova" points out , this idea is "presented in the composition in a satirical manner characteristic of the group", which is why there are serious doubts about the appropriateness of the song's ban.

The prosecutor's office also said that another resident of Murom was fined for possession of the song "Blue Disease" by the Kolovrat group.
