Andryusha is the long -awaited son: there are two daughters in the family besides him. The boy was born with congenital pneumonia, quickly recovered and came home to his sisters. But a month later he again got into intensive care: he began to suffocate, stopped eating, weakened. Andryusha was connected to the apparatus of the artificial cultivation of the lungs (IVL). Parents were allowed to the hospital twice a week for only an hour. “We learned the diagnosis only after five months. It was a sentence. Miastenia is a neuromuscular disease, in our case-a rare congenital syndrome of pathological muscle fatigue. As the doctors said, the forecast is unfavorable, ”says mother.

Now Andryusha is in the resuscitation department of the NPC specialized medical care to children. V.F. Voyno-Yasenetsky. He was made a tracheostomy, and now he breathes with the help of the Ivl apparatus.

Despite the disease, the baby is sociable, smiling, loves musical toys and even tries to sing along. But sometimes Andryusha is sad, thoughtful. Parents believe that at such moments he realizes what is happening to him.

“It seemed that we were left completely alone, without support. But the children's hospice “House with a lighthouse” came to the rescue. Since then, their lighthouse is given to us, which is leading from darkness, ”says Andryushi's mother.

Parents really want to pick up their son home so that he is constantly next to them, communicate with the sisters and enjoy life.

Thanks to the donations, the children's hospice “House with a lighthouse” has already raised funds for the purchase of an IVL apparatus, with which Andryusha will be able to leave the hospital and live at home. But besides the device, he needs some more medical devices. One of them is a aspirator that helps to get rid of sputum accumulating in the respiratory tract.
