There is a lot of debate about the reasons that prompted Usmanov to record the video . They name both a sincere resentment of an Eastern person, and an attempt to provide a service (perhaps in response to a request) to high-ranking Russian officials, and a desire to respond to some internal claims of supporters of “deoffshorization”, and building a strategy to protect against possible problems in relations with Western European judicial systems.

If you do not believe your eyes, which detect obvious improvisation in Usmanov's video, then he looks almost perfect. Everything is done according to the classic canons of "viral" videos. Indeed, everyone is talking about him (according to RBC, more than 1 million people watched the video a day after the release), he “blew up” not only the Internet, but also offline. The video turned out to be of interest to many who were unaware of the existence of Usmanov (and Navalny) - so many different memes, reasons for photo-toads, self-parodies are concentrated in it. An interesting manual not only for a video blogger, but also for a sociologist, philologist, psychologist.

The novice video blogger tried all possible intonations and approaches. From “please apologize” to “fuck on you”, from “you are not a criminal” to “you are a fake convict”. If you don’t reduce everything to the primitive prohibition to call the totem by name, then the problem of official rhetoric is precisely in the failure to find the right intonation for communication with Navalny. We have already gone through all the pronouns (“he”, “they”, “you”, “you” and even “I”). We tried a variety of designs like “delusions of a criminal” and “papers and compote”. Both heavyweights and freaks entered the ring. Some looked decent, but it did not bring happiness to anyone. Usmanov (probably unwittingly) simply went through all the listed methods of public rhetoric in his speech. Those who really want to see a targeted appeal to the generation of bloggers in the video will probably do it with some effort. Those who are close to the brutal rhetoric of the heroes of "Gangster Petersburg" or "Capercaillie" will see in Usmanov's intonations the strength, energy, fastidious indifference of a full-fledged "master of life" lacking in Sobyanin, Chubais, Pozner or Evgeny Fedorov. Without the fussy flickering of rappers or the fictional pathos of the authors of the video about "Hitler".

Thus, in the video there is also a groping for one's (faulty) intonation of addressing Navalny, and attempts to guess the wishes of other interested parties (whose tastes are also not the same). Not the fact that all this was done intentionally, but it turned out the way it happened.

Now the question is whether the next pre-calculated step will follow Usmanov's video. If so, new intrigue and drama can unfold. If not, then Usmanov’s message will go down in history as an incident: “For three days I chased you to say how indifferent you are to me!”
