"CASE 26": the trial of Stanislav Zimovtsets

On May 23, at 14:00 in the Tver District Court of Moscow, a meeting in the criminal case of Stanislav Zimovts will be held. This is the second trial in the “March 26 case” open after the anti -corruption action in Moscow. Last week, the defendant of this case Yuri Kuli, who was arrested on the denunciation of the activist SERB and fully pleaded guilty, was convicted in a special manner by 8 months of a colony settlement under part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code (the application of irrepressible violence to a government representative).

The Zimovtsu was charged with the same article, the sanction of which is up to five years in the colony.

Zimovtsa is 32 years old. He is a visiting from Volgograd; In 2015 he graduated from the Volga Humanitarian Institute - a branch of the Volgograd University. Adheres to nationalist views. Signed for opposition publics, including the "artillery" Vyacheslav Maltsev.

On the 28th, the winter road was fined under Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding a public event).

On April 1, the judge of the Basmanny District Court of Moscow Galina Grabovskaya (Demidovich) sent him to the pre -trial detention center until May 30.

The parents of the Zimovts in Volgograd was a search. His local police did not report the reason, noting only that the opposition was detained in connection with the action in Moscow. Parents of the Politzek began to call the metropolitan departments of the police, but they did not give any specific information there - instead, the security forces threatened them with criminal liability for giving false testimony.

According to the plot of the case, on March 26, near Pushkinskaya Square, Zimmovets threw a brick in the back of the security forces from the Russian Guard. After that, the investigation department says, he “disappeared into the crowd, changed into the purpose of conspiracy”, and then returned to the place of events with a traumatic gun, “continuing to provoke those present to illegal actions.”

In the pre-trial detention center-2, a bottler was placed in a block for those sentenced to life imprisonment.

On May 24, the case of the third defendant - Alexander Shpakov will be considered in the Tver court.
