
Forward of Yekaterinburg "Urals" Roman Pavlyuchenko will not extend the contract with the club, the term of which expires on June 30. The football player himself is not yet ready to talk about the further development of his career.
“I think that we will not renew the contract. So we decided. Roma for family reasons wants to stay in Moscow. So, apparently, he leaves us. Of course, Pavlyuchenko, we need, but this is life,” said the President of the Urals Grigory Ivanov Sport -Express .
The 35-year-old striker moved to the Urals in June 2016 and last season he spent 24 matches in all tournaments for the “bumblebees”, scored four goals and made one burning gear. Earlier in the spring both Pavlyuchenko and the club have repeatedly stated that they were ready to continue cooperation in the next season.
“I decided to return to Moscow for family reasons,” Pavlyuchenko confirmed “SE”. “And I can’t say anything about the continuation of my career.”
In the Russian Championship of the 2016/2017 season, he spent 21 matches, scoring four goals. Pavlyuchenko has 50 matches and 21 goals for the Russian team. As part of the national team, he became the bronze medalist of the 2008 European Championship, scoring three goals at the tournament.
