A businessman who killed a pregnant wife and three children due to debts was convicted of Primorye.

The Primorsky Regional Court sentenced the 38-year-old businessman, who was found guilty of exterminating members of his family. The victims of a businessman who got into debt were his pregnant wife, as well as three young children.

The court sentenced the guilty of the murder of four people a punishment in the form of a life sentence. The man will serve in a correctional colony of special regime, the official website of the regional prosecutor's office reports.

In addition, the court granted the citizenship of the victim to recover three million rubles from the convicted person in compensation for non -pecuniary damage.

As follows from the materials of the criminal case, the crime was committed during the November holidays of 2014 (November 4 on the day of popular unity) in a private house on Vorovsky Street in Artem, where he lived the defendant with his family: sons of two, eight and 13 years, as well as a wife, who was pregnant at that time.

“Against the background of family and financial troubles” (the defendant was engaged in entrepreneurial activities for sewing knitted products), the man decided to kill relatives. "The motive of the crime was household disorder and monetary debts," the Russian Federation said earlier.

“First, he called his wife into one of the rooms, where he had prepared a“ surprise ”for her. Asking to close his eyes, he threw an elastic elongated wire on her neck and began to pull his ends with force until the woman stopped showing signs of life,” the prosecutor’s press release said.

Acting in a similar way, the criminal strangled the rest of his family. He tied his hands before strangling to her elder children.

The suspect was detained in the area of ​​the bus station. Traces of thermal burns were visible on his hands. By that time, the corpses of the dead were already discovered after extinguishing the fire.

In the police department, the suspect admitted to the murder of households. As the investigators explained, at the time of the detention, the man was in shock. He walked down the street with a rope around his neck. According to the detainee, he was going to commit suicide.

Initially, doctors recognized the child to be insane, revealing a temporary mental disorder from him. However, when considering in court the materials of the case on the appropriate for the defendant of forced medical measures, the state prosecutor filed a request for a repeated stationary comprehensive psychological and psychiatric examination. As a result, the medical commission came to the opposite conclusion - at the time of the crime, the man realized the actual nature and social danger of his actions and could lead them. In this regard, the businessman was recognized as sane and subject to criminal liability on a common basis.

The conclusions of doctors were confirmed at the Moscow Research Center for Psychiatry named after V.P. Serbsky.

A criminal case initiated under Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of two or more persons") was sent to the regional court and listened with the participation of jury. The defendant himself insisted on this.

The jury college came to the conclusion that the accused is guilty of murder and does not deserve condescension.
