Elbow explained Reichman's resignation

Novosibirsk Mayor Anatoly Lokot accepted the resignation of Sergei Raikhman from the post of head of the department of transport and road improvement complex. The official is resigning from June 9 "of his own free will."

“It was his personal decision, which I approved. Today, more than ever, a strategic view of the industry is important. The development of the road transport sector is one of the three city priorities. The department faces a number of complex and financially intensive tasks, so I take the choice of a new leader as seriously as possible,” Lokot wrote on May 23 on his VKontakte page.

Roman Dronov, Deputy Head of the Passenger Transportation Department, will act as the head of the department.

Taiga.info announced the upcoming resignation on May 16, two sources told about the resignation of the official responsible for transport. Officially, the mayor's office has not yet confirmed the information.

Sergei Raikhman was born in 1955. He has been working in the municipal economy since 1988. In 1995–2003, he worked at the Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant. After that, he returned to the mayor's office - to the position of deputy head of the main department of improvement and gardening (GUBO).

In 2005, Raikhman headed the Department of Energy and Housing and Public Utilities, which he left after a scandal demanding management companies campaign for United Russia in the 2007 State Duma elections. Then he headed the department of capital construction of the mayor's office, then moved to work in the department of transport, becoming the deputy of Valery Zharkov. He resigned in October 2015, and Raikhman, first in the status of acting, and then without this prefix, headed the department.
