On May 24, the Tver District Court of Moscow will begin consideration of the criminal case against the "Prisoner of March 26" Alexander Shpakov.
According to investigators, Shpakov, "inhibiting the legitimate activities of police officers to protect public order, applied violence that is not dangerous for life and health in relation to one of them."
Shpakov is 39 years old, he is a resident of Lyubertsy near Moscow. He worked as a joiner. On March 26, Shpakova with the use of violence was detained at an anti -corruption action in the center of Moscow, where he went with the Russian flag. During the detention of the demonstration , they hit the head with a club , and dragging him into a police bus, they began to beat the kidneys. From the police department, Shpakov was taken away on an ambulance. Having fixed abrasions and bruises in the hospital, he went home.
At about 3 o’clock in the morning on March 27, the TFR appeared to Shpakov with a search, at the end of which the joiner was already detained in a criminal case. The Russian flag with which he participated in the action became one of the main evidence - returning from the hospital, Shpakov hung it over the bed. On the 28th he was sent to a pre-trial detention center. Thus, Shpakov became the first arrested in the “March 26 case”. Politsyk is contained in the metropolitan pre-trial detention center-5 "Vodnik".
Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code (the use of non -hazardous violence to a representative of the authorities), which provides for up to five years of the colony, was charged with Shpakov. It is alleged that he twice hit the commander of the 1st battalion of the 2nd Opera of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow, Lieutenant Colonel Valery Gonikov. Among the witnesses in the case are the captain and lieutenant of the police. Earlier, Gonikov - at that time the major - passed the victim in the second swamp business .
The lawyer persuaded Shpakov to plead guilty. Later, lawyer Sergei Badamshin entered the case. He writes about his client as follows: “A simple man. A hard worker. A simple five -story building near Moscow, a poor life. He agreed with his daughter, a student at the journalism, go to Navalny to look at Navalny. He doesn’t go to his daughter, a good father. He never went to rallies. He heard about Navalny for the first time from a film about Dimon.”
The first verdict in the “case of March 26” has already been issued: last week Yuri Kuli, arrested by denunciation of the activist SERB and fully pleaded guilty, was convicted in a special manner by 8 months of the colony-settlement under part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code (the application of non-hazardous violence to a representative of the authorities). The same article was imputed by Stanislav Zimovts. The first meeting in his case was scheduled for May 23, but the consideration of the case was postponed in connection with the employment of the lawyer.
