Manchester United beat Ajax in the Europa League final

Manchester United beat Dutch side Ajax 2-0 in the Europa League final. The match took place in Solna, a suburb of Stockholm.

The scoring was opened by Paul Pogba in the 18th minute. At the beginning of the second half, Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored the second goal.

Manchester United, who have won the Champions League three times, won the Europa League for the first time. Club head coach José Mourinho won the UEFA Cup (predecessor of the Europa League) with Porto and won the Champions League twice (with Porto and Inter).
