The Ministry of Education of the Samara Region is trying to prevent schoolchildren from participating in the action on June 12

The Ministry of Education of the Samara Region has sent instructions to local schools and technical schools stating the need to intensify anti-extremist and patriotic agitation among students. Teachers are encouraged to tell students about the dangers of the activities of the party of Alexei Navalny and that opposition politicians are against Russia. This was reported on May 23 by Kasparov. Ru” with reference to teachers who shared information with the publication on condition of anonymity.

The document refers to the special importance of preventing youth from participating in the rally on June 12 , it is recommended to draw the attention of the guys to the fact that "protest activity is temporary."

It is further noted that on April 27, 2017, the Prosecutor General's Office recognized the Open Russia organization as a structure engaged in "inspiring protests and destabilizing the domestic political situation in the Russian Federation." At the same time, it is added that the founder of Open Russia, Mikhail Khodorkovsky, had previously declared support for Navalny.

The recommendations also state the following: “It is necessary to discuss with students forms of countering extremism. First of all, to support the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin. It is necessary to tell that under Article 282.1 - “Conducting extremist activities”, the punishment is up to 10 years in prison.”

"Kasparov. Ru” indicates that district police officers visit schools and warn teachers about their responsibility if their students are detained at a rally on June 12. The police recommend teachers to pay special attention to high school students, explaining to them the danger of participating in opposition rallies.

An eleventh-grade student of one of the Samara schools told the publication that during the class hour, the teacher said that “if on June 12 the students go to the rally and they are detained, then there may be problems with their admission to the university, and parents will have problems at work. Especially if they are state employees or are engaged in private business.
