The Central District Court of the city of Volgograd sentenced student Maxim Beldinov to 1.5 years of probation on charges of using violence not dangerous to life and health against a police officer. This was reported on the Open Russia website.
The criminal case was initiated at the request of the injured policeman Bareyshiy. According to the police officer, on March 26, during the Antidimon rally in Volgograd, Beldinov kicked him in the groin at the moment when Bareishy was trying to detain an underage participant in the rally. Doctors recorded a bruise on the policeman, and he also experienced "moral suffering."
Beldinov wrote a confession.
