City Hall collects ideas to improve Novosibirsk

The competition "125 Ideas for Novosibirsk" starts on June 1. By the 125th anniversary of the city, which will be celebrated in 2018, every resident will be able to offer his idea to improve the life of the metropolis, promised in the city hall.

“Already today we are discussing how the city will celebrate its anniversary in 2018. We want to involve the maximum number of Novosibirsk residents in the organization of festive events, and for this we decided to hold a contest “125 ideas for Novosibirsk” - such a citywide brainstorming, which will allow you to collect the most interesting and significant ideas for improving the life of citizens, ”said the head of the city Anatoly Lokot.

Within the framework of the competition, residents can offer ideas for improving life in four areas: improvement, projects in the field of culture and sports, art objects, proposals for socio-economic development. Ideas are accepted from June 1 to August 1. You can submit an application in electronic form on the site 125nsk.ru , in paper form in the administrations of the districts (district) of Novosibirsk or resource centers of the city. The application form will be published in the Krasny Prospekt newspaper, said the city hall press center

Then the competitive commission will be selected 250 of the most relevant, socially significant, original ideas that will be presented to the court to the townspeople. On September 1, a general vote starts, and a month later, October 1, winners will be named - 125 best ideas (10 from each district - only 100, and 25 major citywide ideas).

“Novosibirsk has traditionally have many ideas and initiatives,” said Vice-mayor Artem Skatov. - When a discussion of one of the city priorities was held on the discussion site - the Green City, we received many proposals from the townspeople to improve parks, squares, courtyards. Therefore, they decided to offer them participation in a new competition, the best ideas will be selected by direct voting. ”

According to Skatov, in Novosibirsk there are many examples of successfully implemented projects: the total dictation, the initiator of which was Novosibirsk, a pond with ducks in Akademgorodka, a monument to the laboratory mouse, the Knyazhi Courtyard festival, a youth alley on Vertkovskaya Street, and a bicycle parking near the metro stations.
