The authorities of the Novosibirsk region will carefully check the safety of children's recreation

In the summer of 2017, about 140 thousand children will rest in children's camps in the Novosibirsk Region, the regional government is predicted. First of all, the authorities strive to support families in a difficult life situation. This was stated at a press conference of the acting Minister of Social Development of the Novosibirsk Region Elena Bakhareva.

“First of all, we strive to provide annually we provide children from such families with free tickets. This year, eight thousand such vouchers have been allocated, ”the government’s press service quotes.

In the Novosibirsk region, an interdepartmental commission was created for the organization of year -round recreation, recovery and employment of children. “The priority area of ​​activity of the commission is to ensure the safety of the life and health of children during recreation in recreational organizations. This year we planned a whole range of verification measures aimed at identifying security disorders in summer camps, ”said Vice-Governor Alexander Titkov.

He also said that the interdepartmental commission set the task of all suburban organizations of recreation and recovery of children of the region to submit a plan for leisure activities planned for the summer. The execution of each plan will be controlled by members of the commission.

According to the Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Innovation Policy of the region Sergey Fedorchuk, in the summer, in the Novosibirsk region, more than 900 daily stay camps will work, in which about 64 thousand children will rest. The summer vacation program in school camps in 2017 will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Novosibirsk Region and the Year of Ecology in Russia.

Olga Lavrova, Deputy Head of the Employment Department of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Labor Resources of the Novosibirsk Region, said that the regional employment centers during the summer holidays will organize work search for schoolchildren. It is planned that this season will be provided with work of about 10 thousand teenagers.
