The police noted progress in an investigation in which about a thousand people participate. Hundreds of more officers are engaged in security in Bolshoi Manchester. The police conducted searches in 14 places. On suspicion of terrorism, 13 people have already been arrested, including Abedy's brother.

On Saturday, the level of terrorist threat in Britain, increased after the explosion in Manchester to the maximum "critical", was reduced to "serious". This level suggests that the commission of a terrorist attack is "very likely." The “critical” level of threat meant that the next attack may have no longer cannot be prevented.

The explosion on the Manchester Arena occurred on Monday evening during the concert of American singer Ariana Grande. Among the wounded were 12 children under the age of 16.

The Islamic state took responsibility for the terrorist attack. The British Prime Minister Teresa May described the actions of the suicide bomber as a manifestation of "terrifying nauseating cowardice."

On Wednesday, the British police said that a terrorist network worked on the preparation of the explosion in Manchester. “This attack was more difficult to organize than those that we saw before.
