On Monday, May 29, the Moscow club “Vermel” will host the super final of the Moscow Poetry Slam. This was reported in the press release of the event.
This season, more than 70 poets took part in the qualifying rounds, the best of whom were chosen by the audience. The super final included 14 people: Mikhail Chevega, Dmitry Danilov, Aglaya Solovyova, Grigory Perel, Ilya Plokhikh, Alexey Sosna, Andrey Podushkin, Lev Kolbachev, Ekaterina Potekhina, Daria Veryasova, Dmitry Artis, Artem Kamardin, Alexander Kurbatov and Sofia Tretyakova. The winners of the super final will take part in the All-Russian Slam, which will be held in the fall as part of the Krasnoyarsk Book Culture Fair with the support of the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation. The winner of the competition will represent Russia at the World Slam in Paris.
“Slam is the most democratic and poignant poetry show. According to the rules, the poet is given three minutes to speak, and a random audience jury evaluates the quality of the text and the skill of performance,” write the organizers.
The organizers of the Moscow slam are the Cultural Initiative project and the poet Andrei Rodionov, who, in addition, will be the host of the competition. Start – 20:00. The entrance ticket costs 200 rubles.
