At the Moscow Domodedovo Airport, on May 28, a deputy of the Business of Montenegro from the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists Moodrage (Mishko) Vukovich was detained. This was reported on the website of the Montenegrin Foreign Ministry.
According to Vijesti, the 62-year-old Vukovich arrived in Moscow to fly out to Minsk to the congress of parliamentarians of the countries of the Central European initiative. Border guards told the policy that he was declared Persona Non Grata.
The passport was selected from Vukovich, after which he was transferred to the transit zone of the airport. The security forces were not allowed to use the phone. Also, the deputy was not allowed to the toilet and washbasin, stating that these premises are located at another part of the airport.
The policy became bad, but he was not provided to him. Only around midnight, another Montenegrin deputy, flying to Minsk, managed to transfer medicines to his colleague.
For some time, the employee of the Chernogorsk embassy in Moscow did not allow Vukovic to meet for some time. Nevertheless, in the end, she managed to achieve admission.
The Ambassador of Montenegro Igor Yovovich contacted the Russian ambassador to Podgorica Sergey Gritsay and outlined the situation. However, the Russian diplomat replied that he could not believe what has been said and in any case, it was too late to interfere in the situation somehow.
At night, the deputy was released and allowed to proceed further to Minsk. However, he decided to interrupt the trip. The politician refused to pay for the return ticket, and he was deported to his homeland at the expense of Russia.
On Monday, the Gritsai ambassador was called to the Montenegrin Foreign Ministry, where he was handed a note of protest.
The day before, the country's foreign minister Sdzhan Darmanovich said that Russia openly intervenes in the domestic policy of Montenegro and is trying to disrupt its entry into NATO. He accused Russian intelligence of obvious support for the Montenegrin opposition, which opposed the country's membership in the North Atlantic Alliance and prepared a coup.
There are economic ties between Montenegro and Russia, Darmanovich added, but Moscow is not the main partner of the country. Many tourists from Russia come to Montenegro, but Russian investments in the country are "ineffective", he noted.
On April 28, the buyingwas ratified by the agreement on the country's entry into NATO . Montenegro will become a full member of the alliance when the document is approved by all the countries of the alliance. By the present moment, only Spain remains to be approved.
Russia tried to disrupt this process. In October, in Montenegro, an attempt by the coup was prevented, during which it was planned to kill the then Prime Minister Milo Dzhukanovich.
The Chernogorsk prosecutor's office accuses the Russian authorities of involvement in the crime. She gave out the arrest of two Russians - Eduard Shishmakov (pseudonym Shirokov) and Vladimir Popov.

The indictment states that Shishmakov and Popov, announced from the beginning of last year to October 18, led a criminal organization operating in Montenegro, Serbia and Russia. Popov is called the GRU agent. The accusations were also charged to citizens of Serbia and Montenegro, including the leaders of the Prossei Party Democratic Front, Andriy Mandich and Milan Knezhevich.
