
The North Caucasus District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced a native of the Derbent district of Dagestan Nariman Bashirov to 19 years of maximum regime on charges of terrorism and attacks on police officers. This was announced on Monday by the Dagestan head of the TFR. As the regional prosecutor’s office specified , a fine of 200 thousand rubles and a month and a half restriction of freedom for leaving the colony were imposed as additional punishments to the convict.
23-year-old Bashirov was declared guilty under 16 articles of the Criminal Code. He was charged with part 2 of Article 208 (participation in illegal armed formation), part 2 of Article 209 (participation in the gang), part 2 of Article 210 (participation in the criminal community), Article 317 (encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer), part 2 of Article 105 (murder with aggravating circumstances), paragraph "b" of part 3 of article 205 (a terrorist attack that entailed an intentional cause of death of death person), part 2 of article 205.5 (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization), Article 126 (abduction of a person), part 3 of Article 127 (illegal imprisonment committed by an organized group or entailed the death of the victim or other grave consequences), Article 158 (theft), part 4 of Article 166 (theft of dangerous violence or the threat of the use of one), part 2 of article 167 167, part 2 of article 167 (deliberate damage to property in a generally hazardous way), Article 162 (robbery), Article 222 (illegal turnover of weapons), Article 222.1 (illegal turnover of explosives) and Article 223 of the Code (illegal manufacture of weapons).
On charges of murder and encroachment on the life of law enforcement officers of the Criminal Code, it provides for punishment up to the death penalty; On charges of a terrorist attack - up to a life sentence.
It was reported that Bashirov made a deal with the prosecutor’s office and actively collaborated with the investigation. Thanks to his testimony, the TFR says, commanders and members of a certain underground group were established; In the summer of 2016 they were killed during the detention. The publication also states that the accused testified to citizens who helped underground. Cases have been discovered against these people and accusatory sentences have already been issued, the investigation department reports.
There is no information about criminal cases against the defendants with the surname Bashirov on the website of Skovs. Meanwhile, in the list of cases listening in court on May 29, there are two, information about which is hidden. One of them, which was considered by Judge Nikolai Nosov, is most likely Bashirov’s business: it entered Skovs on April 10, and the prosecutor's office of Dagestan announced the 12th day of the last month of the sending the case of Bashirov to the court.

According to the plot, Bashirov in 2011 joined the armed underground group operating in the southern regions of Dagestan. He is charged with complicity in the preparation of the explosion of a suicide bomber at the passport office of the police department in the village of Khuchni, the center of the Tabasaran district, in September 2013. Bashirova is also called involved in the explosion in the traffic police post in the village of Derbent District in February 2016.
