In court, lawyer Olga Dinze considered the video recording of the detention of her client Akram Azimov by FSB officers to be falsified, reports . RIA Novosti

The lawyer, speaking at a hearing in the Basmanny District Court of Moscow, presented an extract from the Khosiyat hospital in the Kyrgyz city of Osh, according to which her client was taken out of intensive care by law enforcement officers on April 15.

“And the video in which Azimov was detained at a bus stop in Moscow on April 19 with a grenade in his bag and without laces on his sneakers was staged,” she added.

Previously, the video was called staged by Vazira Azimov, the mother of Akram and his younger brother Abror, also accused in the terrorist attack case. Doctors confirmed her words.

Moskovsky Komsomolets, citing its sources, reported on April 18 that Akram Azimov was taken out of Kyrgyzstan and sent to Moscow, but this was officially reported only on April 19, at which time the video recording was published.

Dinze presented her arguments at a meeting to extend the preventive measure for Azimov. the arrest of nine accused The court extended until September 6, and Abror Azimov until September 17. The eleventh accused was arrested until June 10.

According to investigators, the accused are connected with suicide bomber Akbarzhon Jalilov, who on April 3 detonated an improvised explosive device on the stretch between the Sennaya Ploshchad and Tekhnologichesky Institute stations of the St. Petersburg metro, as a result of which 16 people were killed and about 50 more were injured.
