In Volgograd, picketers protesting against juvenile justice were released

Detained in front of the presidential reception in Volgograd, activists of the "Parental All-Russian Resistance" Anna Pobezhimova and Viktor Shilin were released from the police department. This is reported by the "Caucasian Knot".

As Anna Pobezhimova told the publication, the picketers were released from the police department after taking explanatory notes from them. At the same time, the activist called the actions of the police “strange”.

“The police officers immediately said that they were not detaining us, but simply wanted us not to stand in the sun. The police also said that they had received a call and they had to “work it out”. We went to the police, where they asked us if we were standing together with posters. I said that one person was standing near the presidential reception, the second person is a photographer, ”Pobezhimova said.

According to her, the activists were not allowed to take a photo with a poster near a sign with the inscription “Presidential Reception in the Volgograd Region”.

“The guard did not allow us to take a photo near the reception with a sign in the background,” the activist said.

Activists of the "Parental All-Russian Resistance" Anna Pobezhimova and Viktor Shilin replaced each other on May 30 in a single picket in front of the presidential reception in the Volgograd region. In the hands of the picketers was a poster depicting Putin speaking at the congress of the "Parental All-Russian Resistance" and the inscription: "Vladimir Vladimirovich! Don't sign the Children's Strategy without discussing it with the public."

At about 1.30 pm, single picketers were detained by the police, who took Pobezhimova and Shilin to the police station.

According to Anna Pobezhimova, the activists are protesting against the ideas of the children's ombudsman Anna Kuznetsova on the introduction of foreign experience in removing children from families, as well as classifying the text of the new "National Strategy for the Interests of Children" for the next decade. The new strategy is scheduled to be signed by June 1, as the current strategy for 2012-2017 is ending this year. However, the text of the strategy, as well as its authors, are kept secret.

According to the REGNUM agency , yesterday, on May 29, in Tolyatti, near the building of the City Duma, police detained a participant in a solo picket, who also demanded that the adoption of the “National Strategy in the Interests of Children” take place only after a wide public discussion.

A single picket 40 meters from the entrance to the City Duma building began around 4:30 p.m., but 10 minutes after it began, policemen drove up to the activist. The picketer was detained and taken to police station No. 24 of the city of Togliatti. According to the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, police officers identified the detainee, held a preventive conversation with him, and then released him.
