In the next 20 years, the real size of pensions in Russia has not reached the level of 2013. This is stated in the long -term forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development, Vedomosti reports .
Until 2022, pensions in real terms will be reduced, predicted by the ministry. Their growth will resume only in 2024, and by 2035, pensions will increase by 2.5 percent. At the same time, they will be 4 percent below the level of 2013.
According to the publication, in 2035, in terms of today's prices, the average insurance pension will be a little more than 13 thousand rubles, and a pension of a non -working pensioner is about 15.5. Indexation of pensions to working pensioners in the forecast until 2035 is not provided.
The forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development has an increase in retirement age to 65 years for men and up to 63 years for women. Such a measure awaits the department, will lead to a reduction in the number of pensioners by 2035 by 23 percent, or by 7 million people, compared to 2017. At the same time, raising the retirement age will be accompanied by a sharp drop in the level of pensions. Their attitude to salary will fall from current 35 to 22 percent.
In accordance with the forecast, the growth rate of the Russian economy by 2026 reached 3.5 percent, but then will reduce again. As a result, real incomes of the population, which have decreased over the past three years by 10 percent, will return to the level of 2013 only in 2022.
In January, the head of the Ministry of Labor Maxim Topilin said that the real amount of pensions in Russia will decline for another three years, despite the restored annual indexation procedure. "Despite the fact that we restored the indexation, if we see the forecast, then we have real pensions - all the same, in the future for three years, they are reduced," the minister said.
According to the minister, in order for the income of Russian pensioners to grow, the country needs to develop a system of pensions. “From the point of view of pension provision, we need to move forward, this is not only the task of 2017 - this is a very long prospect. It is necessary that we feel that this is a problematic issue from the point of view of pensioners' income,” Topilin said.
In September 2016, the head of Rosstat, Alexander Surinov, announced the inevitability of raising the retirement age . According to him, "otherwise we will not live." At the same time, Surinov noted that this is his opinion as a citizen, and not as a government official. "I know a demographic forecast in our country, even with optimistic we simply will not live, someone should work," he said.
On February 1, Izvestia, referring to sources close to the government, said that the issue of raising the retirement age was "conceptually resolved" . Now the government has discussions about specific parameters of increase taking into account a detailed analysis of socio-economic consequences, as well as when to announce this decision.
