With lead in the chest and thirst for revenge

In Kyiv, a native of Chechnya Adam Osmaev, a former commander who fought in the Donbass on the side of the forces of the ATO of the Volunteer battalion named after Johar Dudaev, was wounded. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a source in law enforcement agencies.

According to the police, Osmaev and his wife Amina Okueva agreed on an interview with a person who submitted Le Monde journalist Alex Verner. At a meeting in the center of Kyiv, the "journalist" took out the Pistol "Glock" and shot Osmaev in the chest. In response, Okuev from the PM award pistol fired four times in the attacker. Both wounded were taken to the hospital.

In February 2012, Osmaev was detained in Odessa on suspicion of an explosion in the apartment. The FSB later said that he was preparing an attempt on Russian President Vladimir Putin. In September 2013, the alleged accomplice of Osmaev Ilya Pyanzin was sentenced to ten years in Russia in Russia. Osmaeva was not issued to Russia, as he successfully appealed the decision on extradition to the ECHR.

In Ukraine, Osmaev was found guilty of the illegal production of explosives, crossing the country's border according to fake documents and damage to property by negligence. In November 2014, Osmaev was released from custody. A week later it became known that he joined the Johar Dudaev battalion .

After the death of the Brigadier General of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, Isa Munaev, who commanded part of the brigade, in February 2015, Osmaev headed the battalion .
