The Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested another person involved in the case of Colonel of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Dmitry Zakharchenko, reports . RIA Novosti
The arrested Viktor Kluzhenkov is accused of complicity in the transfer of a bribe. In court it turned out that he had a secondary education and had never officially worked anywhere. According to the investigator, he had housing and registration in Moscow, but he did not show up at home and lived in hotels before his arrest.
The investigator claims that Kluzhenkov worked as a driver for the family of FSB officer Dmitry Senin. According to the defense, he “has worked in the Senin family since 2015, and the incriminated crime dates back to 2014.” Kluzhenkov himself does not admit his guilt.
“Investigator (Sergei) Chernyshov opened a case against Kluzhenkov,” the judge said.
As part of the case, Police Major General Alexey Laushkin, the former head of the National Guard department for the Moscow region, was also interrogated.
Earlier, Zakharchenko’s lawyer reported in court that the colonel is suspected of receiving $800 thousand “through the mediation of FSB officer Senin and Interior Ministry General Laushkin.”
“I don’t know either Zakharchenko or Laushkin,” Kluzhenkov argued in court.
On May 26, Alexey Laushkin was put on the wanted list in the case of Dmitry Zakharchenko. According to investigators, with the help of intermediaries - Laushkin and FSB Colonel Dmitry Senin, he received 800 thousand dollars from the owner of the La Marée restaurant .
The former head of the “T” department of the Main Directorate of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Dmitry Zakharchenko, was detained in September 2016. He is accused of exceeding official powers and a bribe in the amount of 7 million rubles (Articles 286 and 290 of the Criminal Code). During the searches, about 9 billion rubles were found on the colonel. Zakharchenko’s father was also arrested in an embezzlement case (Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code).
