Another possible participant in the attack by Beslan Shavanov, while trying to detain - according to the official version, was blown up at the grenade in early March 2015, and the alleged murder organizer - the driver of the former deputy commander of the Chechen battalion "North" Ruslan Geremeyev, Ruslan Mukhudinov, is still wanted. A few more criminals, Semenenko stated, have not yet been established. Ruslan Geremeyev himself was repeatedly mentioned during all the debate, but, as you know, he was not even questioned during the investigation.

The state prosecutor said that the criminals began to follow Nemtsov in the fall of 2014, and for the murder they organized a “complex scheme”, in which everyone had their own role. According to the prosecution, on the day of the murder, February 27, 2015, Zaur Dadaev, an officer of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a former employee of the North battalion, shot politics. Anzor Gubashev and Beslan Shavanov and him followed Nemtsov and helped to hide immediately after the murder. The defendants Shadid Gubashev, Eskerkkhanov and Bakhaev, according to the prosecution, together with the rest collected information about Nemtsov or brought the gang participants, but did not appear at the place of murder. All accusations are confirmed by entries from video cameras, examinations, analysis of phone calls and other evidence, the state prosecutor emphasized.

Maria Semenenko spoke about the circumstances of the murder by a weekly tone, sometimes smiling at the jury. Those - no less calmly - listened to the accusation; Some periodically peered at the clock. The state prosecutor spoke little about the motives of the murder during the debate. However, she told the jury that during the investigation both Dadaev and Anzor Gubashev admitted the crime and said that Nemtsov was killed due to negative statements about Muslims. The fact that the murder was committed because of the opposition to the editorial office of Charlie Hebdo, who published caricatures for the Prophet Muhamed, was not said in court. At the investigation stage, both Dadaev and Gubashev stated this.

At the same time, Semenenko maliciously noted that five million rubles were promised for the murder, and emphasized that against this background, conversations about a religious motive were inappropriate. “Any religion prohibits murder. To kill a person is to kill the whole universe, as the Prophet Muhammad said, ”she said, adding that the defendants called Nemtsov“ American scum ”.

During the break of the meeting, the lawyers of the defendants complained that the state prosecution did not take into account their point of view, and the wife of Khamzat Bahieva Galina Guseva called the speaker's performances a “circus”. Bahiev’s lawyer, Zaurbek Sadakhanov, in a conversation with Medusa said that his ward was judged simply for the company, because he rented a house in the suburbs with the Gubashev brothers. After the break, the prosecutor Semenenko reminded the jury that in court Dadaev and Gubashev refused confessions - supposedly they gave them under torture. At the same time, she insisted that it was precisely the first testimonies that were true, and their defendants changed only because of the advice of lawyers-later.

All the main points that the defendants spoke about were then confirmed by examinations, ”Semenenko insisted.

The state prosecutor (lawyers at that moment smiled sarcastically) said that many evidence in the case are indirect, but it does not bother her: “Indirect and direct evidence - they are equal, as a coin, from any side it has equal dignity, this is one coin. What is indirect? One brilliant surgeon said: “When I do a trepanation, I see the brain, but I don’t see the mind. But this does not prove that it is not there”.

Semenenko called not to remember the basic rule of jurisprudence - the presumption of innocence. “They [lawyers of the defendants] can focus on the fact that all doubts are interpreted in favor of the defendants - this is the presumption of innocence. But the defense forgets: there are not just doubts, but unintentionally doubts. Based on the evidence presented - I believe as the prosecution - the answer is the only correct and fair: yes, proven, yes, they don’t deserve guilty and condescension ... There are definitely no superfluous ones on the bench. ”

The debate will continue on June 6, on this day the lawyers of the defendants will perform. Then the jury will go to the verdict - the five accused of the murder of Boris Nemtsov is guilty or not. If the jury finds them guilty, the prosecution will announce the proposed period for each of the five.
