Yandex decided to close offices in Ukraine

The Yandex company decided to close its offices in Kyiv and Odessa. This is reported by VC with reference to company representatives.

“The Yandex.Ukraine company is included in the sanctions list and, in fact, cannot operate on the territory of Ukraine. In particular, all company accounts are blocked, and we cannot pay salaries to employees. Therefore, we have decided to close offices in Kyiv and Odessa,” said Ochir Mandzhikov, director of public relations for the company.

According to Mandzhikov, employees of Ukrainian offices will be offered to move to branches in other countries.
