The alleged supporters of the Islamic State detained in Moscow prepared a series of terrorist attacks in Moscow in order to disrupt the Cup of Confederations in Football. It is reported by "Kommersant" with reference to unnamed sources.

According to the publication, the initially suspects who received Telegram instructions from Turkey wanted to blow up a restaurant in which they "eat kafira pork." However, then they decided to arrange an explosion at the Teply Stan metro station. After that, terrorists planned to attack passengers using grenades and machine guns.

According to the FSB, a workshop for the production of explosive devices was discovered in one of the rented apartments on Novopedelkinskaya Street. There they found components for the manufacture of explosives, radio ranges, wires, bags with nuts and self-tapping screws, as well as a ready-made home-made fragmentation bomb, disguised as a car fire extinguisher. "Exactly the same bomb, according to the FSB experts, was used for the attack on April 3 in the St. Petersburg metro. Races and grenades were seized from other apartments," the publication notes.

The FSB believes that the group participants were united by the idea of Islamic fundamentalism. The first under the influence of extremists was Muhammadjuusuf Ashurov, who came from Bukhara. He involved Fourcat Kushaev, a citizen of Tajikistan Abdushukura Gulmirzaev and a native of Dagestan Magomed Davudov into the grouping of his fellow countryman.

According to the publication, all four immediately decided to cooperate with the investigation. At the same time, only one of them, Gulmirzaev, said that he was not in the terrorist underground, and his friends used it "at all." The remaining three stated that the IG swore "voluntarily and consciously". One of them, Davudov, answering the investigator’s question, whether he was in a terrorist organization, was indignant: "I did not write a statement about leaving the Islamic State."

The FSB reported on the detention of suspects on May25 . It was claimed that during the searches they found an explosive laboratory, ready a home -made bomb. Weapons, as well as literature and videos of "extremist and terrorist orientation". The special services said that the detainees were led from Syria, and after the attack, they planned to go to this country for war.

On May 26, the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow arrested all four until July 25 . The defendants of the case are suspected of part 1 of Article 30 - paragraph “A” of part 2 of Article 205 (preparation for the terrorist attack as part of an organized group), part 2 of Article 205.5 (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization), part 3 of Article 222 (illegal turnover of weapons as part of an organized group), part of Article 222.1 (illegal turnover of explosives as part of an organized group) and part 3 of article 223.1 of the Criminal Code (illegal manufacture of the Criminal Code (illegal manufacture of the Criminal Code (illegal manufacture of the Criminal Code (illegal production explosives as part of an organized group).
