Employees of the "E" center detained the leader of the movement "Against Crime and Lawlessness"

Dmitry Berdnikov, an activist and leader of the public movement Against Crime and Lawlessness, was detained in Kazan. This is reported by the publication “Idel. Realii” with reference to Irina Zakieva, a supporter of Berdnikov.

According to Zakiyeva, the activist was dragged out of the car by masked men, “10-15 from Department E.” Now Berdnikov is in the police department "Vishnevsky", where the officers draw up his detention by order of the judge of the Vakhitovsky district court of Kazan.

On May 26, Berdnikov planned to hold a one-man picket in front of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan on Svoboda Square. He was detained when he got off the bus near the picket site. He was beaten by police officers during the arrest and while in the police department. A protocol was drawn up against him under Art. 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (disobedience to the lawful order of a police officer).

He remained in the department until the morning, in the morning Berdnikov was taken to the Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan. In court, the man became ill and was transferred.

Yesterday, June 2, the Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan was supposed to start considering the administrative violation case. However, the activist did not appear in court because he was on sick leave.

The failure to appear in court caused the case to be adjourned, but later Judge Kazakova scheduled the hearing for 17:00 on the same day. Berdnikov did not appear at this court session either.

In this regard, the judge decided to bring Berdnikov with the help of police officers from the Vishnevsky department.

According to activists, Berdnikov will wake up at the police station until Monday morning, June 5. That day, a new court hearing was scheduled.
