Onishchenko: the law on benefits in Ukrainian universities for applicants from Crimea is a provocation

Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science Gennady Onishchenko called the law on additional opportunities for applicants from Crimea to receive higher education in Ukrainian educational institutions one of Kyiv’s provocations. In his opinion, the law signed by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is part of “systemic planning work, an element of a “hybrid” war.”
“This law is part of the systematic work that his (Poroshenko’s) masters from the CIA are carrying out to undermine the situation in Crimea. This is a system of provocations,” he said, according to RT.

Earlier, Poroshenko signed a law according to which quotas of 1,000 state-order places are established for applicants from Crimea at universities in five Ukrainian regions.

In Crimea they have already stated that applicants from the peninsula have long since reoriented themselves to Russian universities, the level of which is quite high, and called the tuition benefits offered by Kiev ridiculous.
