The coalition of parties "Consent" and "Honor to serve Riga" won the municipal elections and retained the majority in the Riga City Council. The leader of "Consent" is the current mayor of the city Nil Ushakov.
Based on the results of counting all ballots, the coalition won 50.85 percent of the vote. Thus, its representatives will take 32 out of 60 seats in the Riga City Council. Compared to the 2013 elections, the coalition has lost seven seats.
The results of polls at the exit from the polling stations showed that "Consent" and "Honor to serve Riga" could lose their majority in the Riga City Council.
