As Medusa clarifies , the magazine has recently had problems with money. In December 2016, the publication stopped spreading through retail, Albats then explained this by the need to reduce costs.

In August 2016, after eight years of cooperation with The New Times, the Pushkin Square printing house stopped working. Albats said that the publication has no debts to the printing house.
