Seven Islamic countries broke off relations with Qatar

Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain announced the breakdown of diplomatic relations with Qatar. They were joined by Yemen, Libya and the Maldives. According to Reuters, these countries accuse Qatar of supporting terrorist groups-“Muslim Brothers”, “Islamic State” and “Al-Qaeda” and promoting their ideas through the al-Jazzir television channel.

The countries will close their diplomatic mission in Qatar and stop transport communication with it. Citizens of Qatar, located in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the UAE, will have to leave them for two weeks.

In March 2014, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain recalled ambassadors from the Doha, but did not interrupt the transport message with Qatar and did not expel his citizens. Then the diplomatic crisis lasted 8 months.

This time, the gap of dipolations was preceded by a blocking of Qatari news sites, recalls the BBC. The scandal was caused by the critical statements of the Qatari emir about Saudi Arabia published on the Internet. The Qatarian authorities said that it was a fake, and called the publication "shameful cybercrime."

Qatar is expelled from the coalition fighting in Yemen with Shiite rebels.
