A participant in the March 26 rally in Petrozavodsk is suspected of using violence against a police officer

In Petrozavodsk, a participant in the action on March 26, Evgeniy Vladenkov, was interrogated in the case of using violence against a police officer (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code). Vladenkov said that a case was opened against an unidentified person, and he is a suspect in it.

OVD-InfoAktivist is accused of striking a police officer in the face at least three times. “I simply could not deliver these blows, because the entire video of my arrest was posted online, and it is obvious to everyone that I did not beat anyone,” Vladenkov noted.

A recognizance not to leave the place was chosen as a preventive measure.

Vladenkov noted that after the interrogation, police officers were waiting for him on the porch and handed him a notice that a trial would take place on June 6 under Art. 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (disobedience to a lawful order or requirement of a police officer). An administrative report on Vladenkov was drawn up after his arrest, but on March 27, the Petrozavodsk City Court filed a police case, since the report was drawn up by unauthorized persons.
