The police did not want to give up a passport to one of the truck drivers detained on the Moscow Ring Road

Today, the trial of the truckers who were detained on Saturday at the 6th kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road was supposed to take place, but the court returned the case materials back to the Veshnyaki police department. In addition, it turned out that the police did not give the truck driver Alexei Borisov his passport. Truckers themselves told about this OVD-Info.

Truckers wrote a statement to notify them of the time and date of the new meeting. It also turned out that Alexei Borisov, whom they wanted to keep in the police department from Saturday until the trial, was not given his passport.

When Borisov arrived at the police department for a document, the officers did not let the man out of the department for about two hours and threatened to rewrite article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses from part 5 to part 8 in the protocol. The fifth part differs from the eighth by a smaller amount of the fine and it is impossible to arrest a person on it. In the end, the man was given a passport and released from the department.

On Saturday evening, three truckers (Mikhail Kurbatov, Alexei Borisov and Yuri Bukanov) were detained in a parking lot, on the 6th kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road. The drivers were drinking tea in the trucks when they were asked to go out to talk by police officers, after which they were detained.

For all three, protocols were drawn up under Part 5 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the established procedure by a participant in a public event). However, at first, the police unlawfully wanted to leave Borisov in the department until Monday and issue Part 8 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (repeated commission of an administrative offense).
