In the Saratov region, truckers were given summonses to the department

In Engels (Saratov region), truckers protesting against the Platon system were brought home summons demanding to come to the police department. This was announced to OVD-Info by Alexander Cherevko, coordinator of the Association of Russian Carriers (OPR) in Saratov.

Summons were brought to Vladimir Kulkov, Yevgeny Schneider and Igor Dukhanin while they were in the protest camp and given to relatives. The coordinator noted that the summons may also have been brought to another activist. They are charged with an offense under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Violation of the established procedure for organizing or holding a meeting). The reason was the symbols and flags of the ODA on cars.

On Mykola Pavlenko, a protocol under part 5 of article 20.2 (Violation by a participant in a public event of the established procedure for holding a meeting) was drawn up at the truck stop.

Cherevko also said that the police seized the ODA flag. “I will add that our organization is legally registered, and therefore we have every right to paste over our cars with our symbols. There are no appeals there,” the ODA coordinator noted.
