The number of victims of the attack on Iran’s parliament grew to seven people

Seven people were killed in the attack on Iran’s parliament, Reuters reports with reference to the Iranian Tasnim agency.

Iranian agencies reported an attack on the country's parliament and the Khomeini mausoleum on the morning of June 7. According to media reports, one of the attacking mausoleums blew himself up. As later reported on the air of Iranian television, the second suicide bomber also blew himself up near the Mausoleum.

Press TV reports that the participant in the attack on the memorial accepted cyanide. According to Tasnim, two alleged participants in the attack were detained in the Mausoleum area, the agency does not specify which attack is talking about.

Iri Agency, citing the authorities of Tehran, reports that one of the attackers on the mausoleum was killed by security forces, one committed suicide, the rest were detained.

The head of the Ministry of National Security, Mahmoud Alavi, said that the special services prevented the third attack, Reuters reports with reference to Iranian national television.
