
In July, the rights to the English -language Moscow newspaper The Moscow Times will be transferred to the European Non -Profit Fund, the chairman of which will be the founder of the INDEPENDENT MEDIA holding Der Sauer, the current owner of the publication Demyan Kudryavtsev will enter the board.
According to Vedomosti with reference to Demyan Kudryavtsev, there will be one director from him, two from Sauer. Sauer will also be carried out by the Fund Operational Management.
The country where the fund will be located is not yet selected.
The fund will be able to issue licenses in different countries, the promotion of The Moscow Times will take place around the world - in Europe, the CIS and China countries.
The Moscow Times was founded by Dercom Sauer in 1992. In the spring of 2015, Demyan Kudryavtsev bought The Moscow Times along with the Vedomosti newspaper and several other editions of the Sanoma Independent Media media group.
In the fall of 2015, Mikhail Fishman became the editor -in -chief of The Moscow Times . Since the end of May 2016, the newspaper has been released not only in English, but also in Chinese.
