In 2013, Groznivnaya Amriev reported to the Committee against torture (the predecessor of the current KPPP) that on August 25 of the same year, the Kadyrovites stole him in the center of the Chechen capital and took him to the city Ministry of Internal Affairs, where they beaten for two days, tortured, suspended the ceiling and undergoing humiliations. Under torture, Amriev signed documents regarding the attempt in 2008 by the head of the Grozny police Magomed Dashaev.

Amriev’s older brother, who had been in Germany by that time, was suspected of a crime. The athlete himself in 2010 was already interrogated in the case.

On August 27, 2013, Dashaev brought Amriev to his parents and demanded that their eldest son return to Chechnya. The family replied that it could not guarantee this. In this case, Dashaev noted, all responsibility for the attempt will fall on his younger brother.

The next day, Amriev demanded that the police come to the police, but he ignored the call and left Chechnya. He later left Russia. Abroad, Amriev continued his sports career and became the world champion in the World Mixed Martial Arts Federal.

In 2014, the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Chechnya filed a lawsuit against the protection of honor and dignity to Amriev and the checkpoint, he was considered by the Leninsky district court of the Grozny. Amriev was sent to the Bryansk IVS. As the human rights activists noted, this was done illegally, since part 3 of Article 327 of the Criminal Code does not provide for an imprisonment in the colony.

On Tuesday, the transport prosecutor's office in Bryansk decided to free Amriev. However, the Kadyrovites - two police operatives and special forces in masks were waiting at the emigrant building. They intended to kidnap Amriev right at the exit from the department. Amriev recognized one of the Kadyrovites in Bryansk as a security forces who tried him in Grozny in 2013.

However, the athlete managed to take the security forces by surprise. Jumping out of the building, he jumped into the car to his friends who were waiting for him, and they left.

Amriev decided to go to Ukraine, where he has a residence permit, through Belarus. Khabibrakhmanov noted that the emigrant made such a decision independently and human rights activists were not aware of his initiative. “There are the same search databases, which Amriev apparently did not know about, but we did not have the opportunity to explain it to him,” the lawyer wrote.

On Wednesday, in the city of Dobrush, Gomel region, Amriev was detained by Belarusian border guards . The basis of the Belarusian security forces called the fact that in Russia it was put on the federal wanted list.

The emigrant was delivered to the Department of Internal Affairs of the Dobrushsky district. A lawyer arrived there, but he was not allowed to meet with the client. From an accidentally heard conversation of Belarusian police officers, Polonsky said that Amriev was going to take the Russians to the Chechen security officials in the near future. At the same time, Amriev said that if he was taken to Russia, then he "can do anything with him."
