Murad Amriev was handed over to the Chechen police. The wild story of the MMA fighter, who escaped from Chechnya a few years ago and was detained in Russia this week, ended last night with him being transferred from Belarus to Russia - and Interfax reports that he was handed over to representatives of Chechen law enforcement agencies. Amriev's parents continue to sound the alarm and ask for help from officials; human rights activists talk about arbitrariness; Chechen officials say that everything is within the law - while, according to extradition lawyer Sharbatullo Sodikov, Belarus most likely transferred Amriev to Russia illegally .
