The Chechen security officials were released on a recognition of the non-place of the day before to the Grozny athlete-emigrant Murad Amriev. "Murad Amriev, accompanied by the investigator, was taken to the police in Grozny. After the relevant documents, he was released under the recognizance not to leave and transferred to his close relatives, with whom he went home," the employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chechnya said on Saturday. According to the Chechen security officials, Amriev was put on the wanted list, since he was not interrogated in the framework of a criminal case. The case was opened due to supposedly false documents.

Amriev’s conversation with a member of the Human Rights Council under the head of Chechnya Heda Saratova said that during the transfer to Chechnya, force was not applied to him. He also said that in Bryansk he pointed to one of the Chechen operatives as a torture participant in 2013 "for his own safety."

Speaking on Saturday at a press conference in Grozny, Amriev said that after the arrest in Belarus, he “asked for his rights, asked for the right to a lawyer, asked to consider my refuge,” but they refused to consider his request.

Amriev said that he was not ready to tell you why he refused to go home. “A certain situation was. I can’t say now. I came here at the request of Heda and Kheda’s colleagues, thank people for sympathy, for the experience. And the rest, I’m just not ready to answer the questions for such a thing. I really didn’t know the day or night. I was asked humanly, I was very warm, so I could not refuse this interview,” said Amriyev.

"At the moment, there is no threat to my security, the safety of my relatives in the republic and will not be. We were given such a word. From the moment of my transfer, and to this day, no one has touched me and did not even offend me with a word," said Amriev.

In 2013, Amriev informed the Committee against torture that on August 25 of that year, the Kadyrovites abducted him in the center of the Chechen capital and took him to the city Ministry of Internal Affairs, where they beaten for two days, tortured, suspended the ceiling and undergoing humiliations. Under torture, Amriev signed documents regarding the attempt in 2008 by the head of the Grozny police Magomed Dashaev. Amriev’s older brother, who had been in Germany by that time, was suspected of a crime.

After that, Amriev left Russia. It was claimed that Dashaev declared blood feud Amriev.

On June 4, Amriev entered Russia to submit documents for a new visa in Moscow. At the Suzemka station in the Bryansk region, he was removed from the train to transfer to Grozny . On Tuesday, the transport prosecutor's office in Bryansk decided to free Amriev. However, the Kadyrovites - two police operatives and special forces in masks were waiting at the emigrant building. They intended to kidnap Amriev right at the exit from the department. Amriev recognized one of the Kadyrovites in Bryansk as a security forces who tried him in Grozny in 2013.

However, the athlete managed to take the security forces by surprise. Jumping out of the building, he jumped into the car to his friends who were waiting for him, and they left.

Amriev decided to go to Ukraine, where he has a residence permit, through Belarus. On Wednesday, in the city of Dobrush, Gomel region, Amriev was detained by Belarusian border guards . On the night of Friday, he was issued on the Russian border to the FSB officers. On Friday, Amriev was handed over to the Chechen operatives who took him to Grozny.
