University leaders of St. Petersburg scare students with consequences before a protest against corruption on June 12. They decided to warn the students that the politician Alexei Navalny, who calls to come to rallies and marches, uses the holiday of Russia's Day to destabilize the situation.

The rector of the Mechnikov Medical University in St. Petersburg also urged students not to go to the action on June 12. The university leadership said that Alexei Navalny plans provocations.

The RBC agency, related to the organizers of the protest on the ground, reports warnings to the participants of the meetings that were published by the authorities of Samara, Kaliningrad, Vladimir, Izhevsk, Murmansk, Cheboksar, Veliky Novgorod, Belgorod, Yakutsk, Krasnodar, Stavropol, Salavat, Omsk, Novokuznetsk and Blagoveshchensk. Most often, students were threatened with deductions, reducing assessments and problems with future employment.

In Samara, the applicants of the action confirmed RBC previously published in Novaya Gazeta information about the recommendations that the local Ministry of Education sent to school schools. In them, teachers were prescribed "to prevent the participation of youth in the opposition rally on June 12."
