“My character is painfully perceived by high -ranking Chechen leaders,” Zaikin explained the act of Amriev. The lawyer recalled that he defended the Chechen human rights activist Ruslan Kutaev , in 2014 convicted of a real term in a fabricated case of drug storage.

“This is a tribute to the Chechen traditions, despite the fact that this has nothing to do with jurisprudence,” Zaikin added. “They came to agreements on the basis of local law, and such a decision was made from respect for these customs.”

However, the lawyer concluded, he is ready to again join Amriev’s business if he appeals to him.

On Saturday, Amriev spoke at a press conference in Grozny together with a member of the Human Rights Council under the head of Chechnya Heda Saratova. He said that from the moment of delivery to Chechnya, no one "touched him and did not even offend a word." “At the moment, there will be no threat to my security, the safety of my relatives in the republic,” the former emigrant emphasized. “They gave us such a word.”

At the same time, Amriev refused to explain why at first he resisted sending to Chechnya. He only noticed that "a certain situation was." The former emigrant explained participation in the press conference with Saratova as follows: "I was asked humanly, I was met very warmly, so I could not refuse this interview."

On August 25, 2013, the Kadyrovites abducted Amriev in the center of the Grozny and took him to the city Ministry of Internal Affairs, where they beaten for two days, tortured, suspended the ceiling and undergoing humiliations. Under torture, Amriev signed documents about the attempt in 2008 by the attempt on the head of the Grozny police, Magomed Dashaev. Amriev’s older brother, who had been in Germany by that time, was suspected of a crime.

Amriev turned to the committee against torture (the predecessor of the current KPPP), and later went abroad.

On June 4, Amriev arrived in Russia to submit documents for a new visa in Moscow. At the Suzemka station in the Bryansk region, he was removed from the train to transfer to Grozny . As it turned out, he was put on the wanted list on the use of a fake document. The reason for the initiation of the case was the typo in the passport of the emigrant. At the same time, such an accusation does not provide for conclusions in the colony, and besides, as Zaikin emphasized, the statute of limitations of the persecution of Amriev in the case expired.

On Tuesday, the transport prosecutor's office in Bryansk decided to free Amriev. However, the Kadyrovites - two police operatives and special forces in masks were waiting at the emigrant building. Amriev recognized one of the Kadyrovites in Bryansk as a security forces who tried him in Grozny in 2013.

Amriev managed to take the security forces by surprise. Jumping out of the building, he jumped into the car to his friends who were waiting for him, and they left.

Meanwhile, on Thursday night, Amriyev was detained by Belarusian border guards . The next night he was given the FSB on the Russian border, and on the day of the 9th was handed over to the Kadyrovites .
