Dynamo, Moscow Dynamo, can skip the 2017/18 season in the continental hockey league. Club debts, including salary to players, amount to about two billion rubles. According to Sport-Express , the club management does not have funds to pay off debts, and there is no way to attract new sponsors.
One of the partners of the club of VTB Bank is ready to assist Dynamo, but this year it has changed the sponsorship system - funds are transferred not to the club’s accounts, but to the Central Council of Dynamo. It was the representatives of the council who gave the necessary documents to the KHL for the application, but he does not have hockey players on the contract, coaches, and they can only give guarantees for the future financing.
The issue of debts to hockey players over the past season remains unresolved. The club should have a three -month salary and premium - only about 800 million rubles. The new leadership believes that this debt hangs on the previous authorities, or rather, on the former Dynamo Director General Andrei Safronov.
Recall that investigators of the Department of Economic Security and Combating Corruption of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow Region and employees of other units in early June searched the Dynamo office and made a recess of accounting documentation.
These investigative actions were carried out as part of the audit on the letter of the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Central Council of the All-Russian Physical Sports and Sports Society (VFSO) Dynamo Sergey Fedorov.
According to Sport-Express, Dynamo can take a one-year pause to solve its problems, after which he will return to the KHL. In this case, the blue and white will have neither the first team nor the farm club, the team in the youth hockey league is in question. Thus, almost 70 hockey players and two dozen club employees may remain without work.
Last season, Dynamo, according to the results of the regular championship, made its way to the playoff series, where it reached the semifinals of the Western Conference, in which it lost to the St. Petersburg SKA (1-4).
