A court in Tula roughly arrested the coordinator of Navalny’s local headquarters, Dmitry Nikolaev, for seven days for campaigning to come to an unapproved rally on June 12, the basis for the detention was “stickers, badges and leaflets with Alexei [Navalny’s] election campaign.” At the same time, according to the activist, the police accused him under Article 20.2.2 of the Administrative Code (organizing mass presence or movement of citizens in public places). As soon as Nikolaev approached the car, the activist was surrounded by five people in civilian clothes and wrung his hands. Nikolaev did not try to resist, raising his hands, to which he was told not to resist the police, they put him in a car and took him away in an unknown direction.
