Earlier, the city authorities invited Navalny's supporters who came to the Marse field to go to the specific park on the outskirts of the city.

On the morning of May 12, the municipal deputy Daniil Ken, who was heading to the Marse Field, was detained . The coordinator of Open Russia Andrei Pivovarov, a supporter of movement Nikolai Artemenko and the head of the headquarters of Navalny Polina Kostyleva complained that police officers had come to their home.

Despite the lack of approval, the headquarters of Navalny urged supporters to join the military-patriotic festival on the Marse Field on June 12.
