Activist Halperin said that he was accused of calls for extremism

Activist Mark Galperin was summoned for interrogation in the case of calls to extremism, he reported this on Facebook.

Also in the Youtube channel “News without a lie” published a video in which Halperin tells in more detail that on June 15 he was called for interrogation as the accused in Article 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremist activity using the Internet).

Halperin explained that he had already been interrogated on this case before, but as a witness. The activist noticed that he plans to interrogate "to leave for certain tactics so as not to say anything superfluous."

The entry was made in the Tver District Court before the meeting on Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (disobedience to the legal order of the police officer). Halperin was appointed 15 days of arrest.

A search and interrogation in the case of extremism took place in February. The reason for the investigative actions was an interview with Galperin to the journalist of the YouTube channel “degree TV” Olga Sapronova.

Mark Halperin is one of the first Russians who became defendants in the criminal case under Article 212.1 of the Criminal Code (repeated violation of the rules of the mass event), his case as of June 2017 did not reach the court’s decision.
